Marla Braverman
Marla Braverman’s fiction explores the ways that Jewish faith and national life trigger personal transformations. Her fiction has been featured or is forthcoming in McSweeney’s, Prime Number Magazine, Jewish Fiction, and Moment Magazine, which awarded her an honorable mention in the 2024 Moment Magazine-Karma Foundation Short Fiction Contest, judged by Richard Zimler. Her essays have appeared in First Things, Modern Age, and Azure. Originally from Los Angeles, she lives outside Jerusalem, Israel.
